Life and Death in the Queendom of Sol

Carmine Strange Douglas is one of the best lawyer/investigators in the Queendom of Sol. When any two-bit ambulance chaser can simply make a copy of himself, you have to be good, if you want the business. And of course being 100 years old and immorbid means he’s had a lot of time to learn the tricks of the trade. But when an old friend bursts into his office, looking worse than Carmine has ever seen him, spouting some insane story of someone trying to kill him, Carmine Strange Douglas will be thrust into the midst of the strangest case of his career. And just when he’d dialed up a nice opensource bourbon. Ah well, as Carmine always says, “When you’re immorbid, baby, there’s always tomorrow.”
