Graveyard of Demons by Larry Correia THE BATTLE RAGES

In a land ruled by the Age of Law, the casteless live as untouchables, and rebellion brews. Ashok Vadal, once a strict Protector, discovers his life is a lie. Chosen by an ancient black steel sword, he is thrust into a perilous destiny. As the Great Extermination pushes the Capitol to collapse, Ashok, now a fugitive, and Thera, prophet of the forgotten gods, rally the Sons of the Black Sword to restore balance. With allies like Jagdish, Gutch, and Devedas, Ashok battles demons and political treachery. As the demonic invasion begins, their fight becomes mankind’s last hope.

Praise for Destroyer of Worlds:

“The inevitable fight scenes are just as epic as fans expect. Packed with action, grit, and Ashok’s own grim sarcasm, Correia’s latest is sure to satisfy.”

The Last Convoy Out of River City

As far as months went, Sammie Rameau was pretty sure he’d had worse ones. The problem was, none sprang to mind.

He glanced out the window of the Executive Mansion again and watched as another naked man ran down the street. Closely trailing the naked guy was a police car with lights on and sirens blaring. While a scene like this was not an entirely uncommon occurrence in downtown Richmond, it was usually late at night during the summer when the crazies came out to play with the cops. Not in the middle of a cold and rainy April day.

Read “The Last Convoy Out of River City” by Jason Cordova.

cover Are You There and Other Stories
Jack Skillingstead

This dynamic collection of 27 stories offers a wealth of fantastical and horrifying settings. Life after death, digital personalities, alien invasion, and Lovecraftian horror. It includes “Life on the Preservation,” the basis for Skillingstead’s Philip K. Dick nominated novel of the same name. In the title story, a parapolice detective in hot pursuit of a serial killer receives help from a responsive memory module of the killer’s mother, but soon discovers that he might be falling in love with the module. Edgy and surreal, each tale reflects on familiar, emotional issues and complex relationships from new and imaginative angles.

Jhinsei and his operations team crawl throughout the station, one of many close-knit working groups that keep Termagenti operational. After an unexplained and deadly mishap takes his team from him, Jhinsei finds himself--for lack of a better word--haunted by his dead teammates. In fact, they may not be alone in taking up residence . . .
