book cover BEHIND ENEMY LINES AND DISPLACED IN TIME

When a squad of ROTC cadets training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, in November 2008 find themselves transported to December 1776 in the days before the Battle of Trenton, they find a Continental Army in disarray and General George Washington contemplating the potential of a bleak future. To make matters worse, they’ve lost a modern M-16 rifle to a roving Hessian patrol. Understanding the ramifications of such a discovery, the cadets have no choice but to report to General Washington. Without ammunition or their own meager supplies, can Cadet Sergeant Jameel Mason and his friends steel Washington’s courage and set the infancy of the United States of America back on track?

DON’T MESS WITH OUR ASTRONAUTS!

A Russian ICBM site is attacked just north of the Ukraine border. The nuclear warheads are missing! A fire ravages a cosmonaut training facility in which five spacesuits disappear. A cache of detailed schematics of highly complex rocketry systems is discovered. It all points to the unthinkable: someone—someone extremely well-funded—is taking aim at the International Space Station. But these Russian mercenaries aren’t planning to bring the ISS crashing to Earth—they’re hijacking it. The terrorists are untouchable in their orbital perch, but they have overlooked one crucial aspect of their intricate plan: that astronaut Major Allison Simms is on board the ISS—and you don’t mess with American astronauts!

And don’t miss author Travis S. Taylor on the hit History Channel show, The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch—new episodes airing now!

Another Roadside Attraction

The meandering road trip on the back roads between Austin and Los Angeles wasn’t going the way Aaron had thought it would. At the outset, it had sounded like an adventure, a way to see some of the countryside and forgotten parts of America. Instead, it felt like drudgery—miles and miles of endless nothing. Until a faded billboard hove into view, with the words “See the Fairville Oddity” written on it in ten-foot letters. But this detour may prove more than an amusing distraction. And an encounter at this particular roadside attraction will leave Aaron wishing he’d taken the Interstate.
